My mother was inpatient here on two different occasions as she recovered from brain cancer surgery. I can’t recommend this hospital highly enough. All staff members are kind, helpful, and accommodating. The rehab therapists are wonderful, especially OT Becca and PT Rylee. Thank you so much for taking good care of my mom.
I was sent to this facility, post surgery, to remove a meningioma that had crushed my spinal cord and had paralyzed the right side of my body. From the moment I arrived, to my discharge 10 days later, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The people are so committed and passionate about helping all patients. I’m convinced they gave me my life back. A day doesn’t go by when I don’t think of them and will be forever grateful. I have come so far in a short time and I owe most of my progress to the outstanding care I had at this facility. It’s clean, the food was wonderful, the people were kind and compassionate. They even accommodated my plant-based diet and provided me plant-based Ensure for supplemental protein for wound healing. The driver who took me from this facility to my neurosurgeon followup, told me he transports from all facilities throughout central Ohio, and this is the only place he would go if he needed a facility like this. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, wound nurse, the physical and occupational therapists, and the techs. You hold a special place in my heart.
My son was rejected by OSU because they didn’t think he would be able to walk or have full mobility in the 14 days that the insurance was covering. I took a walk through and chose this facility he was walking in less than 10 days . Staff was great.
Awesome place once I am wear my prosthetic 🦿 I am going to try to go back for more therapy, I had a good time and looking for to going back… I couldn’t pick one staff member they were all great
I would love to say this facility has the best doctors and by far the best nurse’s and tech’s. They go out of their way and you can yell they really care for you and what is best for you. Everyone is so friendlyand try to do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable and happy
My dad Robert Hickman was sent here and they were amazing .Hes 96 and thanks to the staff that got him well he is recovering nicely. Amazing place with amazing people who really care about their patients
I want to start out this review by saying this was the fourth facility I was in in four months and it is the best.
All but one aid in one RN were fabulous. Luckily I had the aid only one evening and her problem was she didn’t seem to be interested in what she was doing. We are in I had many nights and she was hard to understand and then on top of it wearing a mask. She would get short with me because I made her repeat herself but with that strong accent and the mask it was near impossible.

Response time by all other nurses and aids was fabulous. Most times that I pushed the button for help with bathroom issues, they were there in less than five minutes. At the two previous rehab facilities, sometimes it was a two hours wait.
The staff here was fabulous. I was told that I’d be coming here for a 10 to 14 day Boot Camp like rehab of three hours a day. I had seven days of physical therapy and went home. These folks worked hard on my body and my mind to get me in the best possible Health that I could be.
Thank you folks for everything you did for me and getting me home. The man who was my rehabilitation doctor, cannot remember your name I’m sorry, was a gem. He listened to me, laughed with me, and talked with me on an equal level. He is good at what he does.
The food was pretty good. It was nice that we had so many choices and alternate items that we could order if nothing on the menu was to my liking.

Was a patient there after total hip replacement surgery. Rehabilitation went better than expected. Very clean and efficient facility. The nursing care was top notch. The food was pretty good considering it is institutional food. The rehabilitation staff were very good, caring and patient. I highly recommend this facility, I left after 7 days able to walk without a walker or cane. I have a tremendous head start before starting outpatient physical therapy.

I want to give a shout out to Monica. She provided great care for my dad. Kind, caring and professional. If she is watching after a loved one, they are in good hands.
Monica, my father’s first hospice nurse, truly improved my father’s care many times over! So many things are getting taken care of by Capital City Hospice that never seemed to happen before they came into the picture. Smaller changes, like his nails being cut and his beard shaved, to the biggest thing of all, a big shift for the better in his every day mood.
I have every reason to believe that Stacey and Jason will be just as good.

I love my mom’s hospice nurse. She is very thoughtful and takes good care of my mom when she comes to visit. She has taken great care to think about things for my mother to help her in her journey.
Every minute spent with every single person from CapCity hospice was simply perfect! They were kind, considerate, caring, thoughtful and attentive beyond measure, which definitely eased our burden and made a difficult sad journey so much easier. I could not ask for more! Every single one of them absolute angels!!

They are the best. They are extremely helpful and compassionate. Love our nurse and aide. Allison and Courtney are fantastic. They have been there with us until the end. Jason was bedside presence and he is fantastic. Love all 3 of these people
Monica has been a great resource in getting my loved ones into your hospice program. She has been available to help me with all my questions and concerns. So far this experience has been very positive.
Wonderful staff and nurses and Social Workers are great! Sometimes I wish they would let us know if they’re coming or not when they schedule appointments with elderly patients. Or have more of a fixed time if possible. Or if they’re going to run late. We’re waiting today for Social Worker at 1pm not called or showed up yet . We didn’t want to miss them. To run our errands. I’m about to call or text her to see if she forgot or wrote the wrong date on calendar.
My Mother was doing poorly. I made a trip to Ohio being very concerned with her well being. My siblings live close to where she is staying but I live out of state.

She speaks much more clearly now. The nurse also made sure pain medication was available if she needed it. Before she did that it took 2 days to get it. A special bed was ordered to relieve her bed sores. My mother was very pleased. I am thankful for all that is being done to make her more comfortable. I definitely would recommend your services to anyone with these needs. Thank you!

The hospice nurse and aides have been so lovely and caring. Mom’s health has actually improved with the extra care and emotional support given in conjunction with the staff at the long term facility. Thankful for those who have a gift with end of life care.
While the health care staff deserves 5 stars, unfortunately, the administrative staff pulls down the rating. The care team that visits with my mother weekly, Danila and Holly, have been very supportive and helpful in my mother’s overall well being. However, communication from the team leader, Ms. Clark, is severely lacking. We are 60 days into care and all claims are showing as denied through Medicare and supplemental insurance. The initial diagnosis of congestive heart failure has been changed to include a microbaterial lung infection without any discussion with my mother or our family. Medication coverage is inconsistent and still unresolved. The financial frustration has been very burdensome for our family.
Sharon, RN and Jennifer, STNA have been wonderful. My grandmother has had a lot of change over the last month and they go above and beyond to make her comfortable and keep her happy. I am grateful to them!
I wish I could give it a lower rating. Not because of the nurses and aids that spend their times in homes but the answering service. More specifically Mandy. She refused to send out someone as my grandfather was hemorrhaging. After being told they won’t be sending someone she abruptly hung up on my husband. Comfort during passing? No pure negligence and it left him to suffer as he is going into his last hours. I will never recommend them now due to this event.
