I went to check out information on Medicare back in 2017 when I was thinking of retirement good place plenty of information without any pressure nobody trying to sell you any thing glad I went to a workshop I would recommend any one getting ready for Medicare or retirement check them out

They don’t help like they say they do. They want you to get a job to show you can pay your bills then when you show that, they say they can’t help because you have too much income! I lost my home and everything in it because they promised to help then lied. I now have nothing and no job so thanks for your help

Thank you COAAA for all the help you provide for my 79yr dad. And Kudos to Nina his case manager who goes above & beyond to assist. It’s been a bit stressful taking care of him now that he’s a dialysis, however since getting the much needed help from this agency…. it’s helped lighten the load. Finally someone who truly cares. Thank you!

We used Home Instead to hire what we thought was going to be a trusted Care Professional to assist our Mom in her home. Instead, our Mom was exploited and taken advantage of. Home Instead failed to follow through with multiple policies and procedures they have in place to protect its clients and now our Mom is left with both the emotional and financial repercussions.
The “Care Professional” admitted, per Home Instead’s report, to napping during her shifts, purchasing groceries for herself (including alcohol) with my Mom’s money, “borrowing” money from my Mom, and accepting “gifts” that were not documented per Home Instead’s policy. These were the things she admitted to, however there are many additional concerns.
There is no dollar value we can place on the effect this has had on our Mother. It took months for us to get her to accept any form of help and to have this happen is heartbreaking and infuriating. Having someone come in and so blatantly take advantage of her is beyond unacceptable.

We have been with HI for a year and have has some wonderful Care Pro’s during this time caring for my husband Bill. Two of the most wonderful care pros, Cate and Susan work with Bill and complete every task no matter how big or how small. The best part is they always do it with a smile on their face. I’ve been very pleased with Home Instead in three locations, two in Fairfax County, VA, and now in Delaware County, OH. Home Instead hires good people and monitors them. Its employees are punctual, reliable and easy to work with. In my recent experience in Ohio, where I needed help while recovering from surgery, Home Instead even stepped up a week earlier than planned. Since I had just moved to Ohio and did not yet have a support system, I don’t know what I would have done without Home Instead.

Recently, I worked with Home Instead for caregiver services for my dear mom. We were so delighted to work with Val H. She was very knowledgeable about caregiving and elder care and shared her knowledge as to what she was doing and why. This was extremely helpful to me. She was very friendly and kind to my mom. And my mom truly enjoyed her company! Thank you Val H. and Home Instead!

Home Instead has been working for us for 6 months. They are incredibly professional, kind, caring and empathetic to our home care needs. They have taken great care of my husband. Any caregiver they have sent into our home has been professional and organized. I love that they always pick up the phone when you call their office and are there 24 hours a day. The owners are very knowledgeable about various health needs of their clients. I would highly recommend this company without hesitation. Thank you for taking care of those in need!

I hired Home Instead 8 months ago to come in and take care of my mother while I was at work. Home Instead has been wonderful for my mother, Her care professional team have been amazing to my mother. Sherry has been with my mother since we hired the company in August. She has earned my mother’s trust and respect. Miranda A. and Tina L. joined my mother’s care team in February, Sherry, Miranda, and Tina all 3 work together to ensure that my mother is receiving the best care possible. They all 3 talk with each other and leave each other notes in the Client Journal/ These 3 ladies are also great at communicating with me the care giver to make sure I know how her day went as well as any special instructions they may need as well as any observations that they make while caring for my mother. Mom’s Client Care Professional Supervisor is also wonderful making sure that the Care Plan for my mother is correct and p to date with the latest information to meet my mother’s needs. I am very pleased with the care my mother receives and the decision my brother and I made to hire Home Instead.

Home Instead was a part of my dear mothers life for almost 18 months! At first my mom was not happy with the idea of an unknown helper coming into her home, but it didn’t take long for her to stay comfortable and remain safe in her home. Home Instead provided a number of qualified and friendly care-takers, but our saving grace was Cate Spitler! She was with my mom up until her passing, and she even attended the memorial service. Cate became a member of our family, and she adored my mother. I can’t explain how much it meant to me, and my siblings, all the love & concern that Cate gave to our sweet mother; she was truly a blessing. A huge thanks to Home Instead, and ALL the wonderful caretakers out there💟

From the office staff to the care pros they are all prompt, professional, accommodating and compassionate. I am Personally aware of the Integrity and Quality of service delivered to Seniors in need of professional care with a Personal touch!
I was amazed as to how far the Owner, Klay, was willing to go for a Senior client in May 2022! I witnessed a level of Authority and Integrity that was Rare but Timely!
I can only Hope that I will be as well-treated as a Senior one day If I find Myself in need of CareGivers with a Heart ❤!

Monica, my father’s first hospice nurse, truly improved my father’s care many times over! So many things are getting taken care of by Capital City Hospice that never seemed to happen before they came into the picture. Smaller changes, like his nails being cut and his beard shaved, to the biggest thing of all, a big shift for the better in his every day mood.
I have every reason to believe that Stacey and Jason will be just as good.

I love my mom’s hospice nurse. She is very thoughtful and takes good care of my mom when she comes to visit. She has taken great care to think about things for my mother to help her in her journey.

Every minute spent with every single person from CapCity hospice was simply perfect! They were kind, considerate, caring, thoughtful and attentive beyond measure, which definitely eased our burden and made a difficult sad journey so much easier. I could not ask for more! Every single one of them absolute angels!!

They are the best. They are extremely helpful and compassionate. Love our nurse and aide. Allison and Courtney are fantastic. They have been there with us until the end. Jason was bedside presence and he is fantastic. Love all 3 of these people

Wonderful staff and nurses and Social Workers are great! Sometimes I wish they would let us know if they’re coming or not when they schedule appointments with elderly patients. Or have more of a fixed time if possible. Or if they’re going to run late. We’re waiting today for Social Worker at 1pm not called or showed up yet . We didn’t want to miss them. To run our errands. I’m about to call or text her to see if she forgot or wrote the wrong date on calendar.

My Mother was doing poorly. I made a trip to Ohio being very concerned with her well being. My siblings live close to where she is staying but I live out of state.
The Hospice nurse who came to evaluate my mom was so knowledgeable and helpful. She reviewed her medications and with the Dr’s okay removed her from some that were no longer needed. She speaks much more clearly now. The nurse also made sure pain medication was available if she needed it. Before she did that it took 2 days to get it. A special bed was ordered to relieve her bed sores. My mother was very pleased. I am thankful for all that is being done to make her more comfortable. I definitely would recommend your services to anyone with these needs. Thank you!

The hospice nurse and aides have been so lovely and caring. Mom’s health has actually improved with the extra care and emotional support given in conjunction with the staff at the long term facility. Thankful for those who have a gift with end of life care.

While the health care staff deserves 5 stars, unfortunately, the administrative staff pulls down the rating. The care team that visits with my mother weekly, Danila and Holly, have been very supportive and helpful in my mother’s overall well being. However, communication from the team leader, Ms. Clark, is severely lacking. We are 60 days into care and all claims are showing as denied through Medicare and supplemental insurance. The initial diagnosis of congestive heart failure has been changed to include a microbaterial lung infection without any discussion with my mother or our family. Medication coverage is inconsistent and still unresolved. The financial frustration has been very burdensome for our family.

Sharon, RN and Jennifer, STNA have been wonderful. My grandmother has had a lot of change over the last month and they go above and beyond to make her comfortable and keep her happy. I am grateful to them!

I wish I could give it a lower rating. Not because of the nurses and aids that spend their times in homes but the answering service. More specifically Mandy. She refused to send out someone as my grandfather was hemorrhaging. After being told they won’t be sending someone she abruptly hung up on my husband. Comfort during passing? No pure negligence and it left him to suffer as he is going into his last hours. I will never recommend them now due to this event.
