There are not enough great things to say about Luminary Hospice or enough stars to give them. They were there for us every step of the way during this end of life journey with our mom. They treated Mom with the dignity, gentleness, and respect she deserved. As well as providing comfort and support for our family. Every single person we met, from our initial on-boarding contact with Andrea SW, to Christina RN, to Colin, Chaplin, was kind, compassionate, and professional. There were many other staff we came in contact with, but I can’t remember anymore names.
Luminary provided excellent communication the entire time. They answered phone calls or texts ASAP. They respected our wishes for how much or how little involvement we needed from them through each different journey step.
I was a RN Case Manager at The James for years and worked with many hospice agencies. Hands-down, Luminary Hospice is the best. I am absolutely convinced they employee angels. I highly highly recommend Luminary Hospice.

I was simply blown away by the compassionate care my grandfather (and my entire family) received from Luminary Hospice. From the moment they started caring for him, I felt a weight lifted from my shoulders and and we could all rest a little bit easier knowing he was in such good hands. He received impeccable mental, physical, and emotional care as his life came to an end. His care with Luminary was 10 times better than the primary physicians & specialists he’d worked with for years. I trusted them completely. While end of life is a challenging time, I am so grateful to have gotten to know the wonderful people who make up Luminary Hospice. If you are considering care for your loved one, you will not be disappointed with Luminary and will feel so supported during this challenging life stage. They are truly angels on Earth!

Five stars is not enough – they truly deserve several hundred stars. Andrea and her staff were truly a God-send when it came time for additional care of my father-in-law. Carlo was still quite independent but needed a bit of additional help and care. Carlo loved the daily visits and personal care and attention that each and every one of the staff provided to him. They all became like family to him and treated him with so much love and respect. When it came time for additional care, they provided thorough and specific information as to what was going to be performed, as well as what to expect at every next phase of his condition. When Carlo finally started his physical and mental decline, Andrea and her staff were there 24/7, not only for Carlo’s care and well-being, but also for all the family members. They provided emotional and spiritual support to us all. I totally recommend this caring and loving and family-oriented “family” if anyone is ever in need of care assistance and end-of-life assistance.

I began with Luminary 3 months ago and my father was at an assisted living facility. From the moment I met Andrea and her staff I knew I was with people who truly truly cared about me, my family and most of all my Dad. He connected with each one of them the moment he met them and they with him. They provided not only excellent care but they took such an interest in him as if he was their Dad. They always gave me a detailed report (conversation) as to how his visit was with them each and every day they came to see him. They offered so many suggestions to make him the most comfortable possible and always asked me what I needed, and what they could do to make his care easier for me. I have never experienced such care before and I would highly recommend Luminary as they were OUTSTANDING!! They call to check on me periodically after my father passed and I feel as though they truly care from their hearts. You will absolutely be more than pleased and so will your loved one. I give them a score of 10+ !!

If I could give 100 stars I would. My Dad absolutely loved the entire staff. He wanted for nothing. Their treatment took a large load off of my family. I and my family HIGHLY recommend them to any family needing hospice care for a loved one.
