Our family contacted Homewell when our mother needed home health care above and beyond what we as a family were able to provide. The home health aides were not only helpful from a medical care perspective but also very personable and literally became part of our extended family. Homewell always worked hard to accommodate our needs and dependable to have a healthcare aide available when needed. Then when our father became ill and needed care, there was no question who to call. Homewell was able to help our family carry out our parents’ wishes to remain in the comfort of their home until their passing. For that our family will be forever grateful.
My mother has Alzheimer’s and lives in a local facility. She’s safe there but miserable without friends. Homewell companions have been with her from their time as her wingman in Assisted Living to one-on-one companionship as she’s become more confused. Homewell has done a great job adjusting as mom’s needs adjust. They react and adjust appropriately when I let them know a companion assigned to a shift, and my mom, did not connect well. They are also quick to respond if someone is late or calls off and gets cover onsite ASAP….they call me, not the other way around.
Homewell did a fantastic job helping us with my 96 year old mother. They got set up with a bather right away and Amanda, the care manager, helped our family tremendously during our setup with Hospice and after. I highly recommend them.
Homewell has provided an excellent staff of 24 7 caregivers for my 98 year old father.Understandably it took some time to find the right fit for him but I personally met each caregiver and always felt comfortable leaving him in their care. Communication is good and the scheduler does her best to honor any of my requests.
A homecare facility that really cares about it’s clients. Nothing but praise for it’s directors Lisa &Ray Black. My wife has Dementia and her caregiver is wonderful having dealt with Dementia with her mother. Experienced, knowledgeable, and caring. Friendly staff when you call.
